We assess what you actually have, tell you what's cost-effective to fix, and install it correctly. No upsells. No pressure. Just honest work.

We'll Tell You What You Need — And What You Don't

Most insulation contractors come to your house with a number in mind before they've looked at anything. We come with a flashlight and a willingness to actually crawl through your attic.

Tony personally assesses every residential job. He looks at what you have, measures what's there, and gives you an honest answer: what needs to be done, what it will cost, and what the realistic benefit will be.

If your insulation is adequate and your problem is air leakage, we'll tell you that — and address the air leakage. If you need more insulation, we'll tell you exactly what type, where, and why. If the problem is something we can't fix, we'll tell you that too.

That's not how every contractor operates. It's how we operate.

"Tony actually crawled through my entire attic — not just looked in from the ladder. He found the problem in 20 minutes that two other contractors missed completely."
Angi Review — Louisville Homeowner
"He told me what wasn't worth spending money on, which I wasn't expecting. Did exactly what he said he'd do, on time, and the house is noticeably warmer."

Where We Work in Your Home

Attic Insulation

The attic is where most Louisville homes lose the most energy. We assess existing insulation levels, seal air leaks first, then add the correct type and amount of insulation for your specific attic configuration.

Blown-In Insulation

Cellulose and fiberglass blown-in insulation fills gaps and covers joists evenly, achieving consistent R-value across the entire attic floor. Ideal for existing homes where batts can't be installed.

Wall Insulation

Existing walls can be insulated through small holes using blown-in techniques. We assess whether your walls have insulation, what condition it's in, and whether adding insulation makes economic sense.

Crawlspace Insulation

Crawlspace insulation and encapsulation dramatically improves comfort in first-floor rooms and reduces moisture problems. We assess your specific crawlspace conditions before recommending an approach.

Basement Insulation

Rim joist insulation and basement wall insulation are often overlooked but can make a significant difference in comfort and energy use, particularly in Louisville's cold winters.

New Construction

We work with builders on new residential construction, providing insulation that meets or exceeds code requirements and helps homes achieve energy efficiency certifications.

Signs Your Home Needs Attention

Energy bills that are higher than comparable homes in your neighborhood
Rooms that are consistently too hot in summer or too cold in winter
Drafts you can feel near walls, floors, or ceilings
Ice dams forming on your roof in winter
HVAC system running constantly without reaching set temperature
Visible moisture, condensation, or mold in attic or crawlspace
Home built before 1980 (insulation standards were much lower)
Insulation that's more than 20 years old
Federal Tax Credits & Utility Rebates

Homeowners may be eligible for federal tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Section 25C for qualifying insulation improvements.

Louisville Gas and Electric (LG&E) and Kentucky Utilities (KU) also offer rebates for qualifying insulation upgrades. These programs can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket cost.

We can help you understand what improvements qualify and provide the documentation you need to claim credits and rebates.

Consult a tax professional for eligibility. Rebate programs subject to change.
